The Pyramid Lead is a traditional design of sinker which has recently come back into favour as anglers have learned to appreciate how useful it can be.
It is best used over a sandy seabed where the pyramids square base holds surprising well in the tide but can still be moved to give your bait some movement.
This is particularly good when targeting curious species such as flatties and gurnards.
